This Privacy Policy currently applies primarily to our website, waitlist, inquiry forms, marketing communications, and related online interactions. As The ITAD App launches mobile applications, partner tools, marketplace features, web-app accounts, payment workflows, asset scanning, AI-assisted appraisal, logistics, chain-of-custody tools, and related services, we may update this Privacy Policy or provide additional privacy notices that apply to those services.

At launch, we do not use advertising or retargeting pixels such as Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Reddit Pixel, X Pixel, or Google Ads remarketing tags. If we add these tools later, we intend to manage them through appropriate consent controls and update our disclosures as needed.

Business and Platform Participants

When future app or marketplace features launch, information may be shared among users, businesses, partners, recyclers, logistics providers, drivers, facilities, payment providers, and other participants as necessary to facilitate quotes, pickups, drop-offs, asset processing, chain-of-custody records, payouts, compliance documentation, or related services.

8. Selling, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

At launch, we do not sell personal information, sell sensitive personal information, sell biometric personal information, or use advertising/retargeting pixels for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We also do not currently use website activity for targeted advertising or retargeting.

If we later use advertising, retargeting, or similar technologies that may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under applicable privacy laws, we will update our disclosures and provide required choices.

9. Sensitive Personal Information

Our website is not designed to collect sensitive personal information unless you voluntarily provide it in a message or form.

We do not sell or monetize sensitive personal information, biometric personal information, or precise geolocation data.

Future app features may involve asset photos, location data, driver or logistics records, payout details, certificates, or compliance documents. We will provide additional notices and controls where required before or when those features are launched.

10. Photos, Scans, Signatures, and Biometric Information

Future app features may allow users or partners to upload photos, scan barcodes or QR codes, capture asset images, document condition, record signatures, or upload chain-of-custody materials.

Ordinary photos, written signatures, and asset images are not automatically biometric information. We do not currently plan to collect biometric identifiers such as face geometry, fingerprints, voiceprints, or similar biometric templates through the website.

If we later implement features that collect or process biometric identifiers or biometric information, we will provide appropriate notice, obtain consent where required, and update our policies.

11. AI-Assisted Features

The ITAD App may use AI-assisted tools in the future to support asset recognition, appraisal, user assistance, document review, support, fraud detection, logistics, or operational workflows.

AI-generated outputs may be approximate, incomplete, or incorrect. AI-assisted appraisal or quote-related outputs may be subject to human review, partner review, asset condition review, market conditions, documentation, logistics, and other factors.

We do not currently use website form submissions, support messages, uploaded documents, or future app content to train public AI models unless we provide notice and obtain consent where required. We may use service providers that process information on our behalf to provide AI-assisted features.

12. Payments, Payouts, Deposits, and Financial Information

The website is not expected to collect payments directly at launch.

Future app, partner, marketplace, or web-app features may involve payments, payouts, wallet transfers, partner deposits, tax documents, fraud checks, bank linking, disputes, refunds, or related financial workflows through third-party providers such as Stripe, Plaid, PayPal, Venmo, or similar providers if implemented.

We do not plan to directly store raw payment card numbers or bank account credentials on the website. Payment and banking details should be handled by authorized payment processors or banking providers.

13. Location Information

The website may allow users to manually provide general location information, such as ZIP code, city, state, service area, pickup location, or business location.

The website is not expected to collect precise browser-based location information at launch unless we clearly ask for permission for a specific feature.

Future app features may use location information to support pickups, drop-offs, facility matching, routing, dispatch, driver workflows, tracking, logistics, and chain-of-custody documentation. We will provide app-specific permission notices and controls where required.

If you provide your contact information, we may contact you about:

Some browsers or extensions may send Global Privacy Control or similar opt-out preference signals.

At launch, we do not sell personal information, share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use retargeting pixels. If we later engage in activities that require recognition of opt-out preference signals, we will update our practices and disclosures.

21. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

The ITAD App may require users to be at least 18 years old for certain app, marketplace, transaction, payment, logistics, or partner features. Age requirements may be addressed further in our Terms of Service or app-specific terms.

23. App Store and Mobile App Disclosures

When The ITAD App launches mobile applications, app stores may require privacy disclosures, permission prompts, data safety forms, privacy nutrition labels, account deletion information, and other notices about data collection and third-party SDKs. Apple requires developers to provide information about an app’s privacy practices, including the practices of third-party partners whose code is integrated into the app.

We may update this Privacy Policy or provide app-specific disclosures to reflect actual mobile app data practices.
